Design and Planning Consultations
Our design and planning consultation process is flexible in order to meet your needs and intensions. Whether you just want to limit your requirements to this stage (design) only or you opt for a full comprehensive package including the services listed below, we will be able to accommodate you needs.
In terms of design requirements, we treat every project or scheme as a unique case taking into account all influencing factors and design requirements. Site characteristics, local requirement and planning regulations will all be carefully considered and appropriately implemented in the design intent so that the latter stages are hassle-free.
Planning Applications
Whether there is a need for planning permission or a process of permitted development, AECDesign will coordinate and follow up the progress of your application on your behalf with the local authority planning department. We can also provide assistance with regard to the building regulations and design requirements of your project to ensure that regulations and guidelines are properly observed and implemented. We will prepare the necessary technical drawings and documents required by the building control department.
Working Drawings and Specifications
To allow your contractor price up your project and accurately execute the work, we can provide you with a set of working drawings and specifications for your building project execution stage. These will include all the necessary notes and standard working details that will facilitate the tasks of your contractor/builder. If requested we can meet contractors or building control inspectors/engineers on site for any consultation or inspection that deem to be necessary to resolve any technical issue. We can also appoint our partner contractor for your job if you opt for a full comprehensive package and coordinate all the above stages on your behalf and make the whole experience stress free for you.
